I'm Heather, the founder of Divorce Recovery — designed to help parents navigate divorce, maintenance, and protection orders with clarity and confidence.

I've been married — and divorced — three times. No judgment here. I believe deeply in the institution of marriage… it just turns out I'm highly allergic to it.

One of those marriages was to a diagnosed narcissist, an experience that taught me — the hard way — how quickly confusion, self-doubt, and fear can take over when power feels uneven. I know what it's like to sit with anxiety instead of answers, and to realize that emotional overwhelm is often mistaken for weakness — when it's really a lack of structure and support.

Alongside my lived experience, I'm a certified coach with a background in leadership, process, and people strategy. I've spent years helping individuals move from chaos to clarity — and I saw the same again and again in the justice system: parents are expected to arrive at court prepared, organized, and calm, yet no one shows them how.

Divorce Recovery was built to change that. Through evidence-based tools, guided training, and structured preparation, I help parents understand the process, organize their documentation, and take the right steps at the right time — so they can walk into court informed, steady, and in control.
